Co-Alliance Budget Program Offers New Payment Plans

The 2020-21 Budget Program starts soon. Some customers prefer to pay for their propane as they go, having to make a payment every time they receive a delivery, but a majority of our neighbors prefer to enroll in the Co-Alliance Budget program for peace of mind when it comes to their heating costs.
What is the Co-Alliance Propane Budget program?
The Co-Alliance Propane Budget program is a great way for you to manage your heating costs. Based on your estimated gallon usage, and type of account, we’ll lock in your monthly price for the whole season. Co-Alliance Propane customers enrolled in the Budget program enjoy locked-in winter pricing, summer-fill discounts, and auto fill (we monitor your tank so you’ll never run out). There is no fee to join the program and no hidden costs. The Budget program auto-renews but you are free to opt out at any time.
This year we’re offering two payment options for budget contracts in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. One option begins in July with eleven monthly payments, the other begins in September and consists of nine payments.
Option 1 (11-Month Payment Plan)
This option consists of eleven equal monthly payments from July of 2020 to May of 2021 and has been the standard payment plan for Co-Alliance Propane Budget program customers until this year.
Example: If your annual propane budget payment expense is $1,000 your monthly payment under this plan would be $91 a month.
Option 2 (9-Month Payment Plan)
This option breaks your budget payments into nine equal payments due once a month beginning September 2020 through May 2021. These payments are slightly higher due to the reduced number of payments, but the later start date allows for flexibility in financial planning.
Example: If your annual propane expense is $1,000. Under this 9-month plan you would pay $111 a month.
How do I sign up for the Budget Program?
Signing up for the Co-Alliance Propane Budget Program is an easy process no matter if you’re a new Co-Alliance customer or are a long-time Budget Customer.
Current Budget Customers: You will be auto-enrolled in the standard 11 Month Payment Plan. No action on your part is needed unless you have changes. To switch to the 9 Month Payment Plan, please call the Avon office at (800) 525-0272 or your local propane branch by June 10, 2020. We will mail you a notification with your payment details in June.
Current Customers Not Already on Budget Plan: Please contact your local Co-Alliance propane branch or our Avon office at (800) 525-0272 by June 10, 2020, and tell us which program, the 9-month or 11-month, you’d like to enroll. Some restrictions may apply. Most accounts qualify to join our Budget Program. You’ll receive a contract in June by mail. Mail the completed contract back to us and you’re all set to start controlling your heating costs. Note: You will not be enrolled in the Budget Program until we have received your completed contract back at the office.
New Customers: Fill out our easy and secure online credit application to begin the process. Once approved, you’ll be contacted by your propane branch representative. At this time, you can indicate if you want to be on the Budget Plan and which payment option you would like to select. You’ll receive a contract in June by mail. Mail the completed contract back to us and you’re all set for the Budget program. Note: You will not be enrolled in the Budget Program until we have received your completed contract back at the office.
