Co-Alliance Offers Free DataOnTouch Subscriptions During 2020 Growing Season
May 14, 2020

In response to the challenges created by COVID-19 across its trade territory, Co-Alliance, LLP will be offering free access to the DataOnTouch digital platform to its customers.
“We’re proud to be able to offer this digital tool to complement our focus on partnering with our growers into the future,” says incoming Vice President of Agronomy, Doug Whicker.
DataOnTouch is the award-winning mobile data platform that brings together the industry’s leading applications for accounting, weather, mapping and directive scouting to provide a single-point of access and one-source storage for farming data. These applications, known as DOTS, are fully integrated with the user’s fields and Co-Alliance services such as the Co-Alliance field scouting program.
“With DataOnTouch Co-Alliance customers can pay their bill online, which is great for sticking with the social distancing measures we have in place at our branches. However, the data management is where DataOnTouch really shines,” says Luke Lightfoot, Co-Alliance Ag Technology Manager. “A farmer can see the results of a field scout visit in the Scouting DOT, check the markets in the Grain DOT, and then there’s the Weatherview DOT which gives access to our entire network of weather stations across the state.”
Access to all but one of the DOTs is included in this free offering. The Maps DOT, the application that stores the user’s soil tests, variable rate planning maps, as-applied maps, and scouting reports, will require a paid subscription of minimal cost due to licensing agreements.
Customers are encouraged to go online to www.getdataontouch.com or contact their Co-Alliance Agronomy branch to set up their free account.
The free accounts will be available through October 31st, 2020 so that farmers will able to have a full growing season to incorporate their data into their decision making.
