Taylor, Madison & Griffeth Bring Industry Awards Home to Indiana

Dec 02, 2022
The Ag Retailers Association (ARA) held their 2022 ARA Conference & Expo this week and Co-Alliance showed up to the California coast in a big way. More than 600 agricultural retail industry professionals convened to share insights, network, and celebrate 30 years of ARA.

Representing Co-Alliance were Jeff Griffeth, Lauren Taylor, Doug Whicker & George Madison

During the event, the ARA recognized a group of top performers and emerging leaders as part of its Rising Stars award program at the 2022 ARA Conference & Expo. Co-Alliance’s very own Lauren Taylor, Digital Marketing Specialist, was named a 2022 Rising Star. Lauren is an incredibly valuable and talented part of our team, revolutionizing the way we communicate with and connect to our farmer-members.

The Rising Stars program, sponsored by Atticus, is a meaningful way for ARA member companies to nominate emerging leaders to be recognized for their work in front of hundreds of industry professionals and to explore new ways to hone their leadership skills.

The theme of this year’s Rising Stars award program is “Leading with Purpose” and many of this year’s participants created videos telling their unique perspectives.

Check out Lauren’s Video:

As part of the program, each Rising Star also completed the ARA NAVIGATOR 360° online leadership assessment to identify their own strengths and areas to improve as it relates to their company’s unique needs. Developed specifically for agricultural leaders by NuVue, LLC, this ARA tool empowers organizations to thrive in challenging times through developing effective leadership. Congratulations to Lauren for rising up through this program!

Also walking away a winner was George Madison, YieldPro Specialist out of our Reagan Agronomy location. George was awarded with The Scoop’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2022. The Scoop, a leading national ag retailer publication, recognizes young leaders in ag retail for their role in being the farmers’ trusted advisor.

George has done a phenomenal job taking advantage of technology and his top social skills to connect and grow with farmer-members. Have you heard George’s story? Check him out on our podcast!

Finally, at the AgGateway 2022 Annual Conference, Co-Alliance’s Jeff Griffeth, Senior Director of Technology, won the 2022 President’s Award for his service to our industry and AgGateway. AgGateway is a global, non-profit organization whose members develop standards and other resources so that companies can rapidly access information. Jeff continues to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to our industry as well as our team.
