Summer Internships Offer Great Opportunity

October 22, 2021
When it comes to a well-rounded summer internship program, we deliver. But don't just read our words, listen to what three former interns - now full-time employees! - had to say about their experience as a Co-Alliance summer intern:

Ben Wiatt, Agronomy Specialist:
“Co-Alliance gave me the opportunity to work with industry professionals and gain real world experience before I entered the workforce. Co-Alliance also allowed me to network with many locations doing many different tasks during my time as an intern.”

Cole Calloway, Agronomy Specialist:
"My internships at Co-Alliance gave me real world experiences that improved my overall outlook of agriculture. The knowledge and skills I learned during my internships are still being used today at my current position as an Ag Sales Specialist."

Skylar Clifford, Petroleum Dispatcher:
"I would say that even though I didn’t pursue agronomy for a career, my scouting experience allowed me to make connections with amazing people within the company and further expand my knowledge on farming practices and timelines."

Why are we sharing thier testimonies with you? Because Co-Alliance has approximately 60 internships available for the summer of 2022 and we're in search of students ready to fill these roles! Some of the positions are specialized in focused areas of our business, while othersbased on sole agronomic field scouting activity. Whatever experience you're looking for next summer, we have an opportunity to suit you.

Who wants to sit behind a desk all summer when you can go outside and get your boots dirty?

We're in search of students who would like to spend their summer in the sunshine with a hands-on internship, experiencing cool mornings, warm afternoons and some really great scenery. During weekly calls, we always enjoy hearing the many interesting things our summer interns see and experience when covering such a vast territory.

Our field scouts are the front lines of our agronomy services, monitoring our customer’s and member-owner’s fields for crop growth stages, diseases, weeds, and insects. Field scouts work with industry experts and receive daily guidance as they bring their crop development knowledge to life. The field scout position is a starting step that allows you to get into the business and learn agronomy skills.
